What's Brewin'? ~ SMS Terrific Tuesday Challenge

Today is Scrappy Moms Stamps Tacky Tuesday Challenge and we are having some fun! The challenge this week is to use Mini Monsters Cricut cartridge. Don't own that cartridge? Don't worry you can use another or even an SVG cut that is a similar cut found on Mini Monsters. We just want you to have fun.

I created a shaped card for this challenge.

Here's a little close up of the sentiment and toad.

To create this card, I welded the shadow layers of the couldron and toad together in my gypsy. I then cut all my layer pieces and put it together. I used glossy accents on the witches brew and popped the bubbles. I asldo popped up my toad. I added lime green stickles to his spots and used 2 sets of Peachy Keen Stamps, PK-692 Monster Mash Face Assortment and PK-691 Make a monster Face 1 1/8. I colored in the whites with my gel pen and added Ranger Glossy Accents. My patterned paper is from K&Company's Spooktacular line and another older line. The little spider is a button that I picked up from Hobby Lobby. I had to cut off the shank so that it would lay flat. I added some Halloween twine to finish it off.

My sentiment was heat embossed in white so that it would show up on the black designer paper. This sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "A Haunting We Will Go!" set. This is from last year but it is still a fun set. Have a look:

Aren't these sentiments just the most fun! They stamp beautifully, too!

Now head on over to Scrappy Moms Stamps to see what my fellow designers have made. Then whip something for the challenge. We would love for you to join us!

Have a wonderfully, scrappy day!

Hoopin' It Up! ~ SMS Sneak Peek #2

Hello Everyone! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I have the second peek for Scrappy Moms Stamps September release.

Here's a little close up of the cool designer paper I found at Hobby Lobby. I love the textured look of the basket ball and the weathered wood on the backboard of the basket ball hoop.

I kept this card kind of simple. To tell you the truth I just couldn't find a background paper that I was happy with. So I just inked up my Kraft cardstock and took it from there.

The sentiment comes from Scrappy Moms Stamps Game Day. It's great for all your sports related projects.

These stamps are in stock and ready for shipment. Just head over to Scrappy Moms Stamps and grab yourself a set!

Here are the details for my card:

You Brighten My Day! ~ SMS Terrific Tuesday Challenge

Hello, Crafty Friends! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!
Today I get to share with you my first official Scrappy Moms Stamps project! Totally excited about that!! :)
It's Terrific Tuesday Challenge time at Scrappy Moms Stamps. The challenge is to use any cut from Country Life Cricut Cartridge. Don't have that cartridge? Don't worry! You can use any similar cut from another cartridge or SVG. Try to incorporate a SMS somewhere on the project if you have them but it is not required. We just want you to have fun.
I made a card that could be used to encourage or thank someone. I really love the way it came out. Let me show you...

The cut used is from page 72 of the Country Life handbook. As I was planning the card out in my Gypsy I decided that I didn't want to use all the layers.

My sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps, "Quirky Quotes." It works beautifully with this image.

The designer paper I used is from My Mind's Eye, Stella and Rose Gertie Papers. It is gorgeous. I bought a 6 x 6 paper pad from ShopPumpkinSpice. They have some of the best prices for designer paper and the shipping isn't bad either!

All of my cuts were inked with Ranger distress ink.

I wanted my ribbon to look a little like fluffy clouds so I used Crinkle Ribbon in Snow White and gathered it. I added a button with some DMC floss to finish it off. The Crinkle Ribbon can be purchased from My Craft Spot. Kimberly's selection of colors is gorgeous!

That's my project for today! Make sure to click the button below to go to Scrappy Moms Stamps and see what my fabulous design team sisters have for your inspiration. They always inspire me!
