Friends Listen... ~ Shop Pumpkin Spice Inspiration

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a card that I put together for inspiration on the Pumpkin Spice Blog.

I love these beautiful papers from Carta Bella's Traditions 6x6 paper pad. I knew I wanted to use them but I needed a little inspiration.

When I am having trouble with a layout, many times I will turn to a sketch for inspiration. For today's card I used Deconstructed Sketch #99.

The papers are gorgeous with all these flowers. I thought it worked perfectly with the current "Back to Nature" challenge on the Pumpkin Spice Blog. You can find all the information for the current challenge --> HERE.

The following products I used can be found at Shop Pumpkin Spice at at least 30% off retail:

Other items used:

Plantin Schoolbook Cricut Cartridge ~ scallop
Birthday Bash Cricut Cartridge ~ scallop circle
Accent Essentials Cricut Cartridge ~ heart

Howdy Partner! ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps April Release

Howdy! Welocom to my little space on the web!

I am back today to share another card I made using the new Scrappy Moms Stamps April release.

I pulled out an old Cricut cartridge for this one but it is an all time favorite.

For this card I used the Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge to create my little cowboy. The border was created by welding several horseshoes together using my Gypsy. I added a button and some jute rope to the top of the card to balance it out.

Here's a better look at my cowboy.

Doesn't he look cute with that Peachy Keen face! I used PK-145 Piles of 3/4 inch Smiles.

My sentiment is from the brand new Scrappy Moms Stamps "That's Entertainment!" set.

This set is so fun! You can see this set and so many more in the Scrappy Moms Store.

Make sure to check out all of the designers' blogs to see what they are creating with the new stamps.

We also have a special guest designer with us this month:

Until next time...

No Place Like Home ~ Scrappy Moms Stamps April Release

Happy Saturday, Everyone! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog!

Today I am sharing a card that I created with the brand new Scrappy Moms Stamps release.

For this card, I used an image from the Winter Frolic Cricut cartridge.  I thought it worked perfectly with this Scrappy Moms Stamps sentiment. The sentiment is from the "That's Entertainment!" set.

This is a fun set with lots of quotes from movies and tv shows that I am sure many of us recognize.

I cut my image quite large and then cut the main image again but this time partly off the mat so it wouldn't cut the whole thing. I wanted to pop the roof on the birdhouse so I needed to create that layer since it did not have a seperate piece for the roof. For a little texture, I used the Distressed Stripes Cuttlebug embossing folder.

All my patterned paper is from Echo Park's "Sweet Day" 6x6 paper pad. I added a button from My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Two "Blush" collection and baker's twine from My Mind's Eye "Happy Go Lucky "Together" twine.

A few accents were added with my white gel pen and everything was inked with Ranger Distress Ink in Vintage Photo.

I hope you like this sweet card!

The new stamps from Scrappy Moms Stamps are in stock and ready for shipping. You can go to the Scrappy Moms Store to see these and so many more!

Thanks for stopping today!
Until next time...

I decided to create birth announcements using some super cute Peachy Keen Stamps!

I made both a girl and boy version. To create theses cards I used the egg from the Simply Charmed Cricut cartridge and the babies from the Baby Steps Cricut cartridge.

Here is a close up of the boy:

And here is a close up of the girl:

The babies were cut out of Copic Express It paper then colored them with Copic markers and with Spectrum Noir markers.

I stamped their faces with PK-1201 The Moodies 1 1/8th. I added some Ranger Glossy Accents to the eyes for some shine.

I used patterned paper from doodlebug designs Sugar and Spice 6x6 pad and Snips and Snails 6x6 pad.

My sentiments are from the new mid-month release from Peachy Keen Stamps. Not only does this release work perfectly with the April Stamp of the Month, but it can be used with so many other Peachy Keen Stamps.  I used PK- 195 Honey Set. Sending Prayers ~ Shop Pumpkin Spice Inspiration

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a little sumthin' sumthin' that I created using products I got from Shop Pumpkin Spice. I am, also, providing inspiration on the Pumpkin Spice Blog.

With the tragedy of the Boston bombing still in the air, this sentiment from Paper Smooches "Flap Happy" felt appropriate. The beautiful butterflies are also from this same set.

I love the soft pretty colors that come from the My Mind's Eye "Nostalgia" papers. They worked perfectly for the butterflies and my background.

This card came together quickly and would be easy to recreate.

Shop Pumpkin Spice has a wonderful selection of designer papers, stamps, and embellishments. The prices are very reasonable and the shipping is fast.

For daily inspiration, please visit the Pumpkin Spice Blog. There is also a new challenge every Saturday. You can check out the current challenge HERE.

Take time... ~ SMS Terrific Tuesday Challenge

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

There is a new Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps. The challenge for this week is "Spring is Blooming." Include flowers on your project.

For my card I cut flowers from the Forever Young Cricut cartridge and leaves from Accent Essentials. I handcut the stems and used a Fiscars punch for the grass. For the centers of my flowers I added some buttons from my stash and tied bows in the center using Trendy Twine Baker's Twine.

My card base was created using my Gypsy and welding 2 tag shapes from A Child's Year Cricut cartridge.

My sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Fun Celebrations" set. I thought it was perfect.

Take a look at all the inspiration to be had on the Scrappy Moms Stamps blog. Visit each of their blogs and give them a little love. Then create your own "Spring is Blooming" project and link up for your chance to win a stamp set of your choice.

Later this week Scrappy Moms Stamps will be releasing 2 new sets you are sure to get excited about! Come back later to see what I have created using the new sets.

Hi there! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I am just popping on real quick to share the card I made for the PKS April Release Challenge 1 "Rainy Day." This challenge is found on the Peachy Keen Connection and it ends tonight!

I created this card with the newest PK Stamp of the Month for April. I stamped the cute little duck on some patterned paper and cut her out. The rain boots were cut from the Paisley Cricut cartridge and the puddle was cut from Create A Critter cartridge.

The sentiment is from last month's release: PK-193 Baby Easter Bunny.

Happy Bird-day! ~Peachy Keen Inspiration and Challenge

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am providing a little Peachy Keen inspiration here and on the Peachy Keen Blog.

I created this card with the Birthday Challenge in mind that is currently open on the Peachy Keen Connection.

I used the cute little chicks that are on the brand new PKSC-16 April 2013. This set was just released on Friday. I colored these cuties with Copic markers and added some glossy accents the their eyes. I placed them in a nest that I cut from the Sugar and Spice Cricut Lite cartridge.

I cut a shape from Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge and stamped it with PK-107 Cloudy Day background stamp. This is one of favorite background stamps. I find myself using it quite often.  The ink I used was very pale so it is hard to see in the photo.

For more definition, I inked all of the edges of my cuts with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

Since this is a birthday challenge I cut some balloons from Create-A-Critter Critcut cartridge. I added some Twinery Baker's Twine in Maraschino, Denim, and Lemon Drop and a button from my stash.

Here's a another close up for these adorable chicks:

There is still time to join in the April release challenges for you chance to win a $25 gift certificate. You have until Tuesday, April 9th at midnight CST. You can get all the details on the Peachy Keen Connection.

Just a reminder that there is a special sale going on right now.

You can see all the new stamps on the Peachy Keen Stamps Store.

Enjoy this Day ~ SPS Inspiration

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a card that I made using products from Shop Pumpkin Spice.

I thought I would use the current Pumpkin Spice Challenge for my inspiration. The challenge this week is to create something with "Spring Animal or Insects."

I have always wanted to cut this jar of butterflies from Kate's ABC Cricut cartridge and this challenge was perfect.

My patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing "Tangerine" 6x6 pad. I love the beautiful colors and patterns in this pad! I layered it on some kraft cardstock. I added some yellow ribbon from my stash and topped it with a brad from My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing "Sunshine" decorative brads.

I added a bit of The Twinery Baker's Twine in Canteloupe to embellish the jar.

I chose a sentiment from Paper Smooches Flap Happy set.

You can find these products and so much more at Shop Pumpkin Spice and the prices are always at least 30% off retail.

A Note To Cheer You ~ PKS April Sneak Peek

Hi There! Welcome to Luv Scrapping Together!

I am so excited today! Our internet is finally up and running AND I get to share my first Peachy Peek for this month's release! Yay!

You are in for a real treat! Kathy amazes us each and every month and I am thrilled to share what I have created with these wonderful stamps!

For my first peek, I couldn't wait to use this cute little bee and hive from the newest Stamp of the Month for April. I colored the bee and hive with Copic markers. I added some Star Dust Stickles to the bee's wings and I added some pen work to the hive.

The branch was cut from the Create A Critter cartridge and my background shape was cut from Elegant Edges. The background shape was stamped with PK-107 Cloud Day background stamp.

My yellow paper was stamped with MSS-BK-22 Honeycomb background stamp.. I heat embossed it with some clear embossing ink and then inked it up with Ranger Spiced Marmalade.

To finish off the card I added some jute rope and a button from my stash.

I thought the sentiment from PK-194 Wise Crack Sentiments was perfect to go with this cute bee!

Here is a bit of a close up:

These stamps, as well as, several add-on sets will be revealed on Friday, April 5th, at 7:00 PM est. over on the Peachy Keen Connection. After the party you will be able to purchase them. I hope you will join us!

Don't forget to check out the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog to see more sneak peeks from my fellow design team sisters. They have been putting some fabulous things together!]

I will have more peeks for you over the next few days so be sure to come back!
